Miss Nadine was also Nominated for the 2015 ENTREPENUER OF THE YEAR through the Oakville Chamber of Commerce.
Entering the Eighth Year as a studio owner, Miss Nadine would like to welcome you to her dance family……..Live to Dance Academy!!
Anne Lewis
Anne is one of the first smiles you see when you walk in the door at Live To Dance Academy. She became involved in the dance industry when her daughter Miss Nadine switched from gymnastic to dance as a little girl, and has had much “behind the scenes” dance mom experience throughout the years. In Anne’s words “one of the best experiences as being a Mom was the day she sat at the front desk on the opening of LTDA and could hear my daughter teaching her new students and knowing her childhood dream had finally come to fruition.”
Of course over the years not only has Anne attended many performances of Miss Nadine’s students at Recitals, and Competition and had the pleasure to attend several competitions where Miss Nadine was one of the panel of Adjudicators. Each of these events were special and filled her with great joy to see her daughter succeed. “Dance provided to my daughter dancing recreational and then competitive was exactly this…Dance was a positive experience, it taught her, as it does our LTDA children confidence, teamwork, perseverance, how to balance a competitive sport with school work and the value of hard work. Dance teaches students to set goals, and that reaching those goals doesn’t always come easily. It teaches them how to adapt and overcome their fears.”
Anne Lewis is an Informatics Specialist in Healthcare by day and manages our Business Office activities by night and weekends. Her previous experience includes 20+ years in Finance as an Assistant Supervisor/Team Lead. This is a tremendous amount of work to juggle but her strong organizational skills make it look like a breeze! You will quickly learn who Anne is and will see how much she enjoys getting to know all the dance kids, moms and dads! If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to ask, she will promptly get back to you with the answer. If you see Anne at the studio, give her a huge thanks for all that she does for us behind the scenes!!! We welcome Anne for her Eighth year with us.
